  2. Jesus Christ is God, this is the truth. In HIM was life, and that life was the light of all people. Get saved, ask JESUS CHRIST to save you !

  3. Try aiming a concentrated beam at a solar panel hooked up to a battery cell, or some type of rechargeable cell, and see if you get a more efficient charge.

  4. There are videos of water heaters that use them (among other things). If you move an object closer or farther from the lens so that not all the energy is being directed at a single point, then you can spread the heat out so that it doesn’t melt, vaporize, ignite, etc. whatever it is that you are trying to heat. In other words, you actually COULD cook food with one of these, if you felt so inclined.

  25. when using magnifying glass or Fresnel lens you have to be careful to use very dark glasses, even welder’s glasses, to protect your eyes from the concentrated sunlight. i was doing this in the 1950s and i think it caused eye damage, i ended up with some nearsightedness that might have been worsened by this sort of thing. most people do this and eventually just get blurry vision similar to snowblindness but repeatedly doing this will be very damaging to your eyes, and you regret it.
