Thrive ** Im cooking freeze-dried and dehydrated with my Tulsi Hybrid Solar Oven. I use to use Mountain House, but we found the Thrive brand in a conference and I was completely blown away that the taste of their food was so good. I signed that day, and now do not use other dried foods frozen. You can visit www.shelfreliance.com / run to order their freeze dried and dehydrated food products and their survival. If you want a Tulsi Hybrid Solar Oven for $ 279 and what ever the actual shipping cost is. You can call me at (573) 569-2345. I have a leaflet on the oven Tulsi Hybrid Solar on my site www.jenncriaranch.com The Tulsi uses 250Watts + / – on the bottom, and 500watts + / – on High. Check out this link wiki.answers.com It asserts that a regular type of oven can use 3000-9000watts of power! Think about how much money you can save on your electric bill by using the Tulsi Hybrid Solar Oven in electric mode, and if you use the sun that free energy!

  2. FYI, i pre heated the Tulsi Hybrid Solar Oven for 20-30min, and got all my stuff together. I put the dishes in at high for 15min took them out & stirred both dishes & then turned it to low for 15min. I think I could have turned the oven off tho and let the dishes just sit in the oven for the last 15min or a bit more.
