Since 2000 we are doing ** box solar cookers and parabolic cookers in Vietnam. Now we are also installing hot water boilers and solar panels. We researched wind turbines too small. It allows you to take a ride. See also: Video Rating: 5 / 5

  8. Dan-Dan The WILDERNESS Man! moo-ha-ha-ha! This was fun. I used to teach alpine & desert survival skills, so your parody gave me a good chuckle, all while playing with solar cooking too!

  11. Keep up the videos. Could you do a video showing how to convert running water (like a hose) into electicity and light a light bulb. Ie like a little hydro electricity plant

  12. I thought you had lost the plot, but then I saw the date

  13. Love your videos Dan …. But this one was a little tacky…

    By fattyacid1970 on Nov 17, 2012

  14. I was actually embarrassed for you at first Dan. The give away for me was the chicken egg straight from the fridge, even after you were showing everything but the kitchen sink for surviving…:D.

  15. At first I was like “He’s got to be kidding,” but then I saw the April 1 and thought “Oh wait, he is kidding” :]

  16. Stay on target. The mosquitoes are all over me! Stay on target. So yeah… I just woke up and can’t finish the whole Star Wars scene featuring Dan. This skit is going nowhere! Well, at least if I don’t make it as a writer, I can use Dan’s ideas to cook wild goose eggs to stay alive once I’m out of a place to live. :) Scavenge an old Dish Network dish from the trash at the side of the street and an old pan and I’m golden! :)

  17. “Don’t try this at home” “Do not look at the mirror” “You also need a sunny day” First of all this is a DIY channel – where should we try it if not at home? Second, not even a 3 year old kid would be thick enough to look into one of these and third …. I’m just lost for words. No shit sherlock! Right. Sunny day it is then. Everyone make a note – has to be a sunny day. You know what, I think you’ve made the mistake of assuming everybody else is a stupid as you are. Not true at all.

  18. People who don’t live in Florida don’t understand that most of us live within a few miles of wilderness. You couldn’t get lost in my backyard, er well unless you had a cute distraction like you do at home hhahahah. BTW we have seen her cooking and yours, give it up guy you’d starve.

  19. Yeah the car traffic going by kind of gave you away! Camping in the backyard is the bee’s knees.

  24. Don’t try this at home, folks. The concentrated sunlight can fry your retinas in seconds, so DO NOT LOOK AT THE MIRROR! Other than that, creative video. You also need a sunny day for the mirror to work.

  25. Eggs don’t smell…er… maybe the bad ones do.. must be all those wild chickens hanging out in the Florida outback.

  28. Well done! This video is an excellent portrayal of the important work you are doing in Vietnam and beyond. The various solar designs that you are working on are very creative. I am sure your solar cookers have helped many people so far. Thank you for your persistence and your hard work. You are making a difference in the world.

  29. Dear Solar Serve,
Congratulations on your excellent video and the outstanding work you are doing in Vietnam to promote and commercialize small scale solar and wind power. Great job!! We will post it on the Solar Cookers International archive. I’m going to send it to a lot of people. Pat McArdle
