  2. Thanka warrior will try that on my 2nd setup. Total cost was only 200,
bought enough materials for 2 heaters. I do have a check valve on the
return line but didnt have it plumbed in when I shot this vid

  3. Where are the check valves? If you paid $400 for just the parts, you spent
WAY,WAY too much. A 4 x20 solar heater costs about $200 ready to install
including all the connectors and professionally built. Check Google for
kits. You made the plumbing way too complex and costly, but it is really
quite simple with just a check valve and 2 multturn valves plumbed in.

  4. What were the temps in and out?
Would like to know to see if it’s worth the time.

  6. I would like to make a suggestion. The frame and box where you have the
irrigation tubing make it out of sheet-metal and squarer-tubing. The metal
will absorb more heat and help heat the water.

  7. Another Michigander, eh? What part are you in? I’m on the coast of Lake
Michigan in North Muskegon/Grand Haven area. What is up with this nighttime
weather, man? No wonder my plants are so angry.

  8. what materials heat the water faster? tin cans, aluminum tube, or this
    plastic hose?

  9. Nice work. I also have both too. The fire heater is so much better then the
solar heater however using both can really do the job depending on your
situation. I learned a lot from your fire heater video and built my own.
    Thanks

  10. Wanted to get this video up before in got too late in the summer. The solar
heater needs to be fixed up a bit and made to look nice again but it
    functions very well!
