  3. Are you going to try out the Google fiber internet service since you are in
    austin?

  4. I got Solar 3 kw thanks you for share

  5. Super informative. Always had a great interest in solar energy. Is your
system one where you need storage batteries ? I was always concerned about
those deep cell batteries being a ham radio operator. I’ve seen a couple
explode while the power was discharging. Also I know how the weather can be
in Texas so have you ever had to re install a panel or make any adjustments
    after a storm ?

    Thanks

    Love all the videos !

  6. Was your bill $25? Im in fort worth and my avg bill is close to $$300. A
    month.

    By rob k. on Aug 12, 2014

  7. So you save about $300/year on your bill?. Seems cool, but it’s probably
not for me since I live in Canada and the weather isn’t like TX with the
sun burning my room 12 hours/day.

  8. Electricity rates going up? Make your own solar power up on the roof- here
is how we power our house.

  9. Where’s the other guy that reviews stuff?

By BustahNutt on Aug 12, 2014

  10. Great review. Been thinking about solar power for awhile. One comment
though, really dislike the new end credits song. Think about changing it
back. Some of the words are hard to understand and it’s not as catchy.

  11. What does the lighting arrester do?

By Melody Chu on Aug 12, 2014

  12. Did you ever verify that the previous owner really paid only 5k out of the
20k that the system cost? Cost is the real bad guy with these set ups. That
15k is paid by everyone else.

  13. Very cool! Economically, sure, it does not make a lick of sense. But that
is not why you invest in solar!

  20. My dad lives in Malibu, CA. He has a house in the mountains his views are
amazing of the Malibu mountains, million dollar view in a normal house, but
what I’m getting too is he has all solar power no grid at all, wells,
septic tank, and it takes about a half hour for him to drive out the
mountains to pacific coast highway, I’m going there in the spring. He’s
got the Lexus truck and a Toyota Tundra to take the trash to the dump.
Compost piles on side of mountain, he’s a real man on the hill. He’s the
coolest, I will hopefully post a you tube video on my channel of his views
when I get back from there and you’ll have to check that one out. thx for
the vid and explaining to me how he lives.

  23. 06:37 it sounds like someone shouts “no!” When he says how long it will
take to recoup the cost of the sp’s. Weird!… ghost?
