  14. Your system is solar panel string inverters? That is what it looks like. I
am planning a 10K watt system in Florida and intend to just make it grid
tied which should save some funds regarding chargers and batteries. I am
building the house at the same time so I plan a total integrated look. It
looks like your payback will be around 8-9 years?
Also do you know what the wind rating is of the connectors for the solar
panels and the solar panels themselves?
    Nicely done install and system…

  16. What makes this a hybrid system? Isn’t this a grid tie with just a battery
bank back up? Nice look, clean and functional.

  18. Will the solar panels charge the batteries during the grid is off or
    brownout?

By Jerry Halibas on Oct 14, 2014

  19. Looks nice but I hate the positioning of the batteries. They should not be
shut in a cupboard below lots of electrical equipment. Batteries when
    charging give off explosive gasses!!

  20. Phister energy does not do residential installation. Can you refer us to
    some one that does?

  21. Too bad it’s funded with tax credits. Now the poor people that will never

  24. You need to have public service get you a new digital meter it’s way more
accurate We had a meter like that before and never got paid from ps but as
soon as we got new meter we got paid all the time!!

    By FubarR1 on Oct 14, 2014

  25. Well most of the time companies can get the panels in bulk and save money
so that would be the best way to get the best deal.

    By johnny5634 on Oct 14, 2014

  26. I like your system very much. I only have a small system. I do not have
alot of money to spend at one time. Check my system out and tell me what
    you think.
